Submerge was established in 1992 by Mike Banks. It functioned as an administrative hub for Detroit’s independent dance music labels. As a manufacturer, it administrates the production of 12″ records, compact discs and merchandise. As a wholesale distributor, Submerge ships these products throughout the United States, Europe and the Far East. Retail stores can order these products from various retail distributors all over the world. The current line up of Submerge labels includes: SWEAT, Red Planet, Dirt Tech, Yaxteq, Underground Resistance and many others. Submerge’s online e-store allows customers from every corner of the world to shop from the catalogs of Submerge labels and from other labels Somewhere In Detroit.
Shipping costs and handling fee:
Please be advised that each package has a cost associated to it in addition to the actual courier shipping fee (boxes, tape, labels, labour to pack it and keeping the postal service account). These handling fees may vary depending on the above mentioned expenses.

United States Postal Service Disclaimer
Thank you for your order. Please be aware that although the United States Postal Service is sometimes a less expensive method of shipping, we have experienced some problems with shipments to certain countries (lost, damaged, etc.). The United States Priority Mail International service does not guarantee delivery time nor does it provide tracking. USPS Express Mail International does provide tracking.

- 7 to 10 business days for Priority Mail International
Please keep in mind that these quotes are NOT guaranteed. If you choose the United States Postal Service as your method of shipping, Submerge will NOT refund, reimburse or resend packages that are lost or damaged. Submerge WILL reimburse the cost of the merchandise ONLY after the proper claim procedures have been filed and completed. This procedure will only commence 30 days after shipment and notification by customer. You assume FULL responsibility for your shipment once it leaves our facility. We suggest United Parcel Service (UPS) when at all possible for domestic shipments. For international shipments, we suggest United States Postal Service Express Mail International. Both of these methods of shipping are trackable.
Submerge Return & Exchange Policy
All claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org immediately.
Returns will be made for defective products only. Customer is to contact email@example.com for a return authorization number (RA#). Upon receiving your return authorization number, customer will be instructed to return merchandise to:

Customer will be responsible for freight costs of returned merchandise. Submerge Distribution will refund monies providing all of the following statements are true*:
- Item is defective.
- Merchandise cannot be exchanged for other products.
- Customer does not want payment placed on account for future purchases (credit memo).
*Submerge Distribution will incur costs associated with shipping the returned product back to customer.
Exchanges will be made for same item only. If item is no longer available, a credit will be issued for that customer OR payment will be returned to customer. Customer will be responsible for any and all freight costs IF the customer was at fault. Customer will NOT be responsible for return freight costs IF Submerge Distribution is at fault for the initial error.
Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for processing your claim.
